

RULES AND CONDITIONS
- The HSBC Wee Wonders Championships will be played under the
Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews Rules of Golf, except in respect of
the matters and circumstances referred to below, in which case the HSBC Wee
Wonders Championships Rules and Conditions published here will apply.
- A parent or nominated adult must act as a supervisor for his or her own child on
course during the competition, and this will be a condition of entry. The
supervisors will agree and record the number of strokes taken by each player after
each hole. No advice may be given on the course. Read our ‘Information for supervisors’.
- All competitors should check in at the registration point at least 30 minutes before their starting time, and must be at the first tee ten minutes before their starting time
- Spectators are advised for safety reasons not to attempt accessing the course. Players shall walk at all times unless specifically permitted by the Committee to ride.
- The parent or nominated adult is permitted to carry a bag for competitors who are 5-6 years of age only. Bag carriers are allowed in other age categories.
- Please ensure you check in advance and comply with the dress code for each venue. Good behaviour and golf etiquette must be observed at all times.
- Except for death or personal injury caused by breach of its duty, Wee Wonders Limited will not be responsible for death, injury, disease, damage or loss sustained by any person taking part in or attending any HSBC Wee Wonders Championships event.

- Entry Forms available at HSBC branches across the UK and Ireland.
- Note: all entries, whether received online or via the official entry form for qualifying rounds, together with the relative entry fees, must be received by HSBC Wee Wonders two weeks before the date of the qualifying competition in which the player wishes to compete. Selected venues will be taking entries up to and on the day of their local qualifier. These venues are indicated on the ‘Find your local qualifier’ list.
- No one may enter or compete in more than one qualifying competition. Competitors who must withdraw from the competition should give as much advance notice as possible and entry fees are non-refundable. Once registered for a qualifying event or regional final, the competitor is not permitted to change venue.
- All expenses in relation to the events, including travel and accommodation are the responsibility of the competitor and their parent/guardian.
- The highest-placed competitors in each of the qualifying competitions shall be eligible to compete in a designated regional final, where they will incur a further entry fee of £15. Please take note of this when selecting your venue, as competitors cannot change regional final. The highest-placed competitors in each category in each of the regional finals shall be eligible to compete in the championships grand final. The entry fee covers only entry to the relevant round of the championships and course fees for that round.
- Exemptions. The 2008 Champion in each age category and members of Team HSBC Wee Wonders 2008 that compete in the US Kids World Championships shall be eligible to compete in the 2008 Regional Final of their choice. Any competitor who has won an individual title at the US Kids World Championships 2008 shall also be eligible to compete in the grand final.

- The eligibility by age shall be determined by the entrant’s age on 1 September 2008. The Committee may request the production of a birth certificate of any competitor at any time during the championships.
- All entries shall be subject to the approval of the Committee, which reserves the right to accept or refuse, or, having accepted, subsequently to reject any entry without giving any reason for its decision.
- The Committee reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or competitor making a false statement on their entry form.

- Wee Wonders Limited reserves the right to amend these rules and conditions.
