Is your junior golfer a champion in the making? Sign them up for the 2009 HSBC Wee Wonders Championships, and find out!
The HSBC Wee Wonders Championships is a junior golf tournament that gives boys and girls aged five to twelve a way to progress from coaching competitions into competitive golf.
Played on courses across the UK and Ireland, your child will get the chance to see how they score against others their age. Split into 7 age groups, each competitor has 36 strokes to play the course, and shall place a flag where their final shot comes to rest. The winner in each age group is the competitor whose ball is furthest around the golf course after his or her 36th shot.
We started the tournament in 1995, and it has grown every year. We hope your child joins the anticipated 4,500 junior golfers at one of the 135 local qualifying events scheduled for 2009. Winners of the Local Qualifiers then progress through to one of nine Regional Finals, with our Grand Final taking place in August 2009 at St Andrews, Scotland - the home of golf.
