The tournament that’s a big opportunity for junior golfers

The HSBC Wee Wonders Championships is a junior golf tournament that gives boys and girls aged five to twelve a way to progress from coaching competitions into competitive golf.

Playing on Par 3 Golf courses, in ‘flag format’, your child will get the chance to see how they score against others their age. He or she will have 36 shots to get as far around the course as possible. Where the ball stops, they plant their flag. If they get further than others their age, they’ve won!

Since 1995 when we started the tournament, the HSBC Wee Wonders Championships has gone from strength to strength.

We hope your child joins the anticipated 4,500 junior golfers at one of the 100 local qualifying events. We also wish them luck in progressing further. Either to the nine Regional Finals across Great Britain and Ireland. Or to our Grand Final, which will be at St Andrews – the birthplace of golf - on 23 and 24 August, 2008.
